My name is Robin Roelofsen. I am 44 years old, am married, and I am living in the city of Almere in the Netherlands.

On the Internet, I am working on designing and maintaining a couple of my own personal websites. I used to do the design using Dreamweaver (HTML pages), but in 2009 I totally switched to using the content management system Joomla!.

On this page I would like to show you which sites I have designed and am now maintaining, as a sort of showcase of my presence on the Net.

GIANT! Fitness & Bodybuilding (Dutch language site)

This is the site I started my web presence with, about eight years ago.

A couple of years ago, in addition to a full-time IT job, I was working as a personal fitness trainer. For my personal training endeavors I set up this site to have an Internet presence, in case people were looking for a personal trainer in the Netherlands.

Over the years the whole site has gotten a bit out of hand, and it now has become a much visited site for fitness and bodybuilding enthusiasts.

GIANT! Fitness & Bodybuilding (English language site)

To ensure I can also service foreign visitors of the GIANT! site, I set up an English version of the GIANT! Fitness & Bodybuilding site in 2009. The site is not very packed yet, since I have to translate all articles myself and am strapped for time at the moment.

This site has not been transferred to the new design yet (the one you can see on the Dutch language site), but I intend to do this soon.

Senioren Planeet (Dutch language site)

In 2009, I started setting up a site aimed at the Dutch senior citizens. Even though there is a myriad of information on the Net for seniors, this information is scattered over a lot of sites. Mij aim is to offer seniors one place where they can find all, relevant to them, information.

Dating Op Het Web (Dutch language site)

In 2007, I was single for a short while, and during that time I investigated the online dating world. I wanted to set up a site where people looking for a new partner, a good friend or just a nice date, can find honest information on the online dating sites that are around. This worked out reasonably well, but to be honest, I haven't paid much attention to it lately. That will be done in the near future.

Online dating is a global thing, and I also wanted to position myself in the international market. That is the reason I set up the English language version of Dating Op Het Web: Personal Dating Site Reviews.

Personal Dating Site Reviews can already be admired in its new design, Dating Op Het Web still needs some tlc.

Vliegvissen In De Ardennen (Dutch language site)
